Things I Realized After Playing Life Is Strange

I love Life Is Strange so much. It is not just a game to me. It actually makes me stop and think about my real life decisions.
The whole butterfly effect concept is insane. The idea that one small choice can completely change everything. Every time Max rewinds time and fixes something, it creates something else. Nothing is simple.
And it makes me think about my own life.
If I never went to the high school I did, I would not have met my boyfriend. If I did not meet him, I probably would not be at the college I am at now. That one decision changed the direction of my entire life. And I did not even know it at the time.
That is what this game does to me. It makes me realize that even the smallest moments matter.
I have played it twice. The first time I was just focused on the story and the emotions. I chose to save Chloe without even thinking twice because it felt right in that moment.
But the second time hit different.
When you replay it, you notice things you did not catch before. The dialogue feels heavier. The consequences feel bigger. You start to think about Arcadia Bay as a whole, not just one person. This time, I think I might choose to save Arcadia Bay instead. And that alone shows how much I have grown.
The graphics are simple, but the storytelling is what makes it beautiful. The music, the quiet moments, the way the game lets you just sit and look around. It feels reflective. Almost therapeutic.
I genuinely want a tattoo inspired by this game because it represents change, growth, and accepting that you cannot control everything. You can only choose in the moment and live with what follows.
Life Is Strange is not just about saving someone. It is about understanding that every choice costs something.
And that stays with me.
– Until Next Time♡
