My Dream Places to Travel
I do not just want to travel to random places. I want places that feel like something. Moody. Cinematic. A little magical. A little quiet. Some of these are for the vibes. Some are for nostalgia. And some are because I romanticize everything.
1.🇯🇵 Okinawa, Japan

I want to go here so bad. The water is so clear it does not even look real. It feels peaceful and soft but still rich in culture. I love that it is not just big city Japan. It feels slower. I feel like I would romanticize my entire existence there.
2. 🌲 Portland, Oregon

This is literally my aesthetic in a city.
- Multnomah Falls
- Silver Falls State Park
- Hopscotch Portland
- Carver Cafe
- Portland Japanese Garden
- Cannon Beach
- Powell’s City of Books
- Voodoo Doughnut
- McKenzie River Trail
- Willamette National Forest
- Stone Cliff Inn
- Jackpot Records
- Muteki Ramen
Portland feels like if forests and coffee shops had a baby. I want to hike in the morning and eat ramen at night. I want to stand in front of Multnomah Falls and just stare. It feels calm but creative at the same time.
3. 🌊 Tillamook, Oregon

This one is very specific.
- The train tracks
- Blue Moon Cafe
- Cape Meares Lighthouse
It just feels like a coming of age movie. Windy. Quiet. Slightly dramatic. I want to stand near a lighthouse and rethink my life decisions for no reason.
4.🩸 Covington, Georgia

If you know, you know.
- Mystic Grill
- The Vampire Diaries Filming Locations
This is strictly for my The Vampire Diaries heart. I need to see the town square. I need to pretend I am in Mystic Falls. This is not negotiable.
5. 🕯 Salem, Massachusetts

I want to go in the fall when it is cold and dramatic. Salem feels spooky but also historical. I just know I would eat it up.
6. 🖤 New Orleans, Louisiana

Specifically Bourbon Street and the Vampire Cafe. The architecture, the energy, the music. It feels alive but haunted at the same time. That is my vibe.
7. 🌳 The Redwood Forest

I just want to stand next to trees that make me feel small. That is it. Something about being surrounded by something that old feels grounding.
