This Baddies Series Review isn’t about who fought the hardest or who had the funniest one liners. It’s about why I think the show has become so much bigger than people give it credit for. When people hear the word baddie, they usually think of someone who carries themselves in a certain way. Someone who is polished, professional, and fits the traditional idea of what success is supposed to look like. But I don’t think the Baddies series is really about that.
It’s About More Than Fighting
Other baddie series reviews focus on the drama and fighting part and forget the amount of work that went into making the show. The biggest thing I’ve noticed from watching the show is that being completely yourself and staying authentic can take you places you never expected to go. The women on the show don’t always fit the traditional image of what people think a successful woman should look like, but they have built a brand around who they are. They have shown that personality, confidence, and knowing how to market yourself can open doors that you may have never thought were possible.
The Baddies brand has grown far beyond what many people expected. Whether people love the show or criticize it, there is no denying the impact it has created. They are now being invited into events, rooms, and spaces that can create opportunities not only for themselves but also for the Black community as a whole. No matter how you look at it, the success of the Baddies franchise shows the power of representation, branding, and authenticity. It proves that there isn’t only one path to success, and sometimes being unapologetically yourself can be the very thing that sets you apart.
Natalie Nunn Built the Brand
One thing I think people overlook when talking about the Baddies franchise is Natalie Nunn’s role in creating it. I see a lot of people trying to replace her or saying she’s a bad CEO, and while I do think Natalie has moments where she does too much, people forget who created the platform in the first place. Baddies wouldn’t be what it is today without Natalie’s vision and the moves she made behind the scenes. Yea, Chrisean Rock helped put the show on the map, but there’s a difference between being a breakout star and being the person who built the entire brand.
Natalie’s biggest strength is that she knows how to create opportunities and give women a platform to showcase themselves when they may not have gotten that chance otherwise. She understands entertainment, branding, and how to turn personalities into something people want to watch.
Why Rollie and Diamond Can’t Replace Natalie
I think Rollie has done a great job in her own way because she focuses more on making the girls feel comfortable and allowing them to show their personalities. But I don’t think that means she can replace Natalie. The same goes for Diamond The Body. They both bring their own strengths and have grown their own names, but they haven’t reached the level of impact Natalie has created with the Baddies brand. And that’s not meant to take away from how far they have come. They’ve built their own fan bases and made names for themselves. But Natalie’s name alone is already a brand, and that level of recognition takes years to build.
My Final Thoughts
At the end of the day, I think the biggest lesson from the Baddies series is that success doesn’t always come in the package people expect. The show may not represent the traditional idea of professionalism, but it does represent confidence, personality, and knowing how to turn who you are into something bigger.
Whether people love it or hate it, Baddies has created conversations, opportunities, and a platform that has impacted reality television. You can criticize the drama, the fights, and the personalities, but you can’t deny the influence it has built.
